Hey, what’s up free thinkers and those thinkers boxed in by ideological structures outside of their control that they were forced into because of political, educational, or religious systems? Today, we’re gonna watch some videos, including an Adam Conover video from his channel about corporate mergers, and Johnny H’s newest video on milk. I haven’t seen it yet, so we’ll check it out! There’s also some other stuff on our deep playlist, including maybe a recent Legal Eagle video.
I recently did an interview with a channel about content and the YouTube landscape, and I’ll share it when it’s up. I went into it thinking I wouldn’t say anything crazy, and three questions in, the guy got me talking about Mr Beast! But it was a fun interview. comment um
One of the first things the military government did was to ban and pursue [Fernando] Ferrari, who was deemed a Marxist agitator, although he really never was a Marxist. I think this is a good point as well that, like [James] Lindsay, people do this when they don’t like something: they just put a label on it and deem it bad. This commenter goes on to say that this “red scare-like approach” to Ferrari’s work has been the norm since then, and that most of his critics in Brazil wouldn’t be able to even articulate that. What is clear to me, as a teacher and student of education and political philosophy, is that the right is fundamentally against education. Ferrari’s pedagogy of the oppressed is the kind of work that, if fully realized in society, has the power to turn the power structures upside down, which is antithetical to the liberal conservative right’s entire project of maintaining the status quo and profiting off the misery of the working class. One can only dream that Ferrari had as much influence in the education system as the right says he does. It seems unlikely that we will reach 12,000 anytime soon. he’s kind of referring to this idea that in certain contexts certain political goals can be achieved and it’s almost like a trial and error kind of thing so like you can try out different political ideologies and see which one works best for you and for the context that you’re in

My current new hot take is that political branding is kind of dumb. Politics is less theory and more action, so if I were to say I’m a communist, what does that mean? It just means I agree with a set of ideals. To say that I am a communist would mean that I would be engaged in some sort of political collective activity oriented towards those aims. Before the alt-right moniker became the go-to reactionary label, you’d have dudes bordering on not wanting to call themselves conservative defaulting to saying something like “I’m a classical liberal.” I think we put way too much emphasis on those things.
A French philosopher uses this term the “Communist Hypothesis” and I think he’s referring to this idea that in certain contexts certain political goals can be achieved and it’s almost like a trial and error kind of thing. So, you can try out different political ideologies and see which one works best for you and for the context that you’re in. name for that so uh
We really missed out on not being a part of this podcast, but when we reach 666 live viewers I do a 666 Satan voice. Some people don’t like it, so I’ll have fun going back to work. What’s causing all of these problems? The answer is corporate consolidation. The largest corporations in America have taken control of our economy and our society, making it less free and less fair. Jeffrey Locke said that Bruce Springsteen was against the merger of Live Nation and Ticketmaster and even Barack Obama weighed in. Obama’s justice department waved the merger through despite the protest from artists and fans. Obama’s top best prosecutor praised the merger, saying that there would be enough air and sunlight for competitors to take root. Jeffrey Locke also said that he was drunk at a party and made a comment that Trump never drowned anyone and Obama did, which caused people to get mad at him. He also said that Obama produced Adam Conover’s Netflix show and that it was “cool as [__] to take the Obama’s money to make a show and then be like yo you do drone strikes”. He concluded by saying that he would watch the show when he’s a little sick. We need to get the stream up so I can get in better shape for the live music industry. Fans, venues, and artists all have to deal with Ticketmaster and its exorbitant fees, which make live music so expensive that many people can’t even afford to go anymore. Adam Conover is going on tour this year and tickets are available at his website, not Ticketmaster. He recently tried out some of his new material at a show, and we’re getting close to the release of his new single. It’s time to take a stand against Ticketmaster’s monopoly and make live music more accessible for everyone. ng but that’s just like a really really really really really really really really really It was a symbol of the welfare experience and soon government cheese was cropping up in movies and Hip-Hop lyrics by artists who grew up on the stuff. It was strange to think that the wealthiest country in the world had people waiting in line for cheese in the snow.
I can relate to this as a kid I would drink a lot of milk, and at school we had milk in bags and you would pick your own, equal shares of normal milk, strawberry and chocolate. I was kind of into the strawberry stuff but there were times when other 10 year olds were ready to kill to get ahead in the line to get a chocolate milk. I remember reading the best-selling kids novel at the time, “Face on the Milk Carton”. Obviously, Northern Europeans have adapted to drinking milk because of the nomadic tribes that got used to consuming it. In places like Asia, many people drink milk and may be confused as to why someone would put baby food in their diets. There are many reasons why I love Asian cuisine, particularly its flavor, but I also appreciate that there is no dairy in most Asian food, as I don’t digest dairy well. To get around this, humans would take a digestive enzyme.
Thanks to the discovery of pasteurization, milk is now safe for anyone to consume, including kids. This process was named after Louis Pasteur, who is credited with finding a way to heat up milk and kill off any dangerous pathogens. This made it way safer and easier to extend the shelf life of milk.
Now, people like Johnny Harris can do videos on topics such as economics and culture. Paul Wallstrom has also given humans new food options. The National Dairy Council has been promoting milk as being scientifically proven to be vital for health, but this claim is not without controversy. Marcella, who is from Tijuana, states that flour tortillas are not typically associated with Mexican tacos, although some places in Los Angeles have opened that offer a “Tijuana style taco”. Henry from El Paso adds that in his area, both flour and corn tortillas are used about equally.
It is interesting to note that governments have historically found ways to promote certain foods for economic gain, rather than for the betterment of our bodies. During World War One, milk was condensed into a powder form and associated with patriotism, freedom, and liberty in America. This helped milk become a popular product, and even today, the Dairy companies are taking advantage of this by promoting milk as a way to cure dietary deficiencies.
