Libraries provide a communal space that exists outside the flows of capital. Unlike coffee shops, the movies or the mall, libraries are one of the few places where you can go and not have to participate in the exchange and accumulation of capital. Libraries offer a variety of activities such as reading books, using the internet, attending classes and groups, and providing a place to hang out for all ages. They are a really cool space that should be appreciated.
