A Florida man was arrested after hitting his dad with a pizza because he was mad that his dad had helped bring him into the world. I find every part of this relatable. This young man was reflecting on the existential conditions of reality mixed with the potential of environmental catastrophe. He was thinking about a collapsing economy, how hard it is to get jobs, how we might never own a home, and the very little work that his father’s generation did towards rectifying this desperate political situation. In the face of that, he hit his dad with a pizza because the pizza was there and who among us wouldn’t want to hit someone with a pizza out of pure political, existential, social, and environmental rage? This one’s just noicé.
